Murray
Support Dog
Murray was born in Maryland, USA, in November 2020, and now calls Toronto home, where he lives with the principal, Amanda, and her family. Since being introduced to Summit Micro School, Murray has quickly become an integral part of the community.
Murray absolutely loves people and enjoys spending time with all his friends at Summit. He’s a big fan of getting pets from students when they visit him in the office and is known for his signature “hug,” where he rests his neck in the crook of your arm. He’s also an expert at cleaning up leftover crumbs—just in case anyone forgets to finish their lunch!
When he’s not at school, Murray can usually be found napping under a pile of blankets or pillows. While he enjoys a good run for about an hour daily, he values his rest just as much! He loves visiting up north, where he can run off-leash and play with his dog friends, James, Mila, and Scout.
If Murray had a superpower, it would be the ability to calm and comfort anyone feeling upset or nervous instantly. As a Whippet, he’s often mistaken for a greyhound due to his larger size, which also makes him quite good at sneaking food off the counter—only when no one’s looking, of course!
Murray’s values? Unconditional love and the importance of self-care—especially getting plenty of sleep!
