Some kids think differently. Here, that’s their greatest strength.
A private school in West Toronto where neurodivergent learners thrive.
About Summit Micro School
At Summit Micro School, we believe that every child deserves an education that recognizes their individuality and potential. Our philosophy is rooted in neurodivergent education, where differences in how children think, learn, and experience the world are understood as strengths rather than challenges to overcome.
We provide an inclusive and supportive learning environment where students feel safe, respected, and truly seen. Our classrooms are designed to support both neurodivergent and neurotypical learners, fostering a community where curiosity, empathy, and collaboration are encouraged every day.
Our approach to personalized education means that each student follows a learning path based on their unique needs, interests, and readiness. Instead of a one-size-fits-all model, we focus on student-centered learning, allowing children to grow academically while also developing confidence, independence, and self-advocacy.
Through small class sizes, meaningful relationships with teachers, and hands-on experiences, students build not only strong academic skills but also emotional resilience and a genuine love of learning.
At Summit Micro School, education is about more than academics — it's about helping every child discover who they are, how they learn best, and how they can thrive in the world.
Our Programs
Our Difference
A school designed around how children learn best.
Personalized, Skill-Based Learning
Every child follows a personalized learning path based on their strengths, interests, and readiness — not just their age or grade level.
Focus on the Whole Child
We believe education should support the whole child. Along with academics, students develop communication, creativity, emotional wellbeing, and self-advocacy.
Neurodiverse-Affirming Environment
We don’t just accommodate differences — we value them, we create an inclusive learning environment where every child feels safe, understood, and supported.
Hands-On, Project-Based Learning
Learning at Summit goes beyond worksheets. Through hands-on, project-based learning, students explore, collaborate, and connect their learning to real-world ideas.
Our Location
Summit Micro School is located on the west side of Toronto, in a neighbourhood surrounded by green spaces and parks.
Regular access to nature is an intentional part of our approach. Time outdoors helps students regulate, recharge, and return to learning with greater focus and calm.
For many of our students—especially those who feel overwhelmed in traditional environments—this connection to nature supports both well-being and engagement.
Our small, supportive community allows each student to feel grounded, understood, and ready to learn.
